On 8th and 9th October 2019 the 6th International Energy Symposium will take place. This year, everything revolves around the topic of "Integrated Energy Systems in Urban Areas". The event offers a platform for cross-sector exchange between technology providers and users and will be hosted in cooperation with the Green Tech Cluster in Graz (Austria).

The 5th Energy Symposium will take place on 11-12 September 2018 at the KIT Campus Nord (Karlsruhe, Germany). The theme of this year’s event is “Hydrogen as energy source”, as hydrogen technologies will foster Europe’s distributed power generation, allow the application of renewables to the transport sector and help to cope with the intermittent character of renewable energy sources like solar and wind power.

The workshop will offer a discussion forum for recent developments and key issues in next generation biofuel technologies which are capable of converting agrifood waste (AFW) streams into high quality biobutanol. The workshop is organized within the Waste2Fuels project, which is funded under the Horizon 2020 programme. Our network member Helbio S.A. participates in this project.
